In line with our objective to catalyze standard digital learning frameworks across South Asian universities, a senior FFMCE executive panel met with **Dr. (Mrs.) A.W.A.P.R. Wanigasooriya**, Head of the **Department of Library and Information Science**, University of Kelaniya, on March 30, 2026.
The strategic curriculum dialogue investigated the deployment of modern pedagogical software models, automated search architectures, interactive library science platforms, and international academic credit-transfers.
Academic Exchange with Gumi University
Dr. Wanigasooriya highlighted the value of FFMCE’s strategic bridge with South Korea’s **Gumi University**. This collaboration helps local library science and information systems students access advanced cloud-based database internships, study-abroad scholarships, and bilingual translation programs.
